just read something interesting on NANFA about young (baby) bowfin being heavily parasitized by tape worms. www.nanfa.org/fif/bowfin.shtml , i've only had a chance to keep babies in the past a total of twice. both times they died in under a week with their mouths agape as mentioned on NANFA. anybody else had this problem? i plan on getting a handful of little ones as soon as they become available again and don't wanna lose any this time.
i've heard good things about "Prazipro" and may try de-worming the little guys as soon as i get 'em. any thoughts?
