parasite on bass??

so i went to check on the bass in the back and when looked at the big guys i saw this injury or parasite on him...wat do u guys think? the temp is already at 86. usual salt treatment?

If you can, net the fish out, and use a spoon (plastic or metal) to scrape away that infection. I will heal sooner than you leave it like that.. Keep the spoon for future treatment. Don't eat with that spoon, even if you wash it with hot water and soap. It gross.. :grinno:

nothin else?? dang i hate catching and stressing these guys. Im always afraid they'll go belly up on me. ill get him wen hes asleep tomorrow nite. thanks john!!

Sometimes you got to stress them to heal them bro. I agree with JL on this one bro. Scraping them can heal them.

Update, so i scraped the wound and it looked like it was healing. Today i checked on him though and hes bleeding pretty profusely from the wound now like its a continuous flow. What should i do?
