I have a lot of small fish in my tank, and recently I've noticed a few dead fish every couple of weeks or so; usually half chewed by the time I stumble upon them.
I've also noticed one or two barbs and danios, languishing at the water surface looking pretty "off". The other indicators I've seen that make me suspect parasites are that these fish look very skinny, despite me generously feeding; and last night I can only describe what looked like a danio with broken back/curved spine, something else I'd associate...
Water parameters are on point, no new stock; it's pretty much plain sailing aside from fish dropping off intermittently.
Need some opinions on whether I could treat with an anti-parasite treatment as a precaution, or whether that presents more problems by itself...
