i have bought a few discus and put them in with my rays now the discus have little redish brown worms hanging out of the anus. i think they are Camellanus Worms.one of the discus has foggy eyes and the discus with a worm hanging out of the anus have very clear and white pop.now my concern is that thesw worms have spread into my rays.the rays are starting to slow down eating.what meds can i use to kill these worms once and for all.i forgot to mention that the one discus with foggy eyes also barely eats.pretty much doesnt eat at all.

Treat it with a 2ppm+ concentration of levamisole hydrochloride, a common pig and poultry wormer.
If you search the Disease and Health forum or google camalanus + levamisole you should be able to find some good information.

parasites are millions of different things.i am talking about a Camellanus Worms very common in discus and angels.now i think it spread into my rays.this is why i need to get rid of them.

i already tried prazipro it doesnt have any affect except maybe the worms cannot reproduce.

You should be able to find a pig or poultry wormer containing levamisole hydrochloride in an online pet or livestock supply store. I can find loads of different ones in online stores in Australia.

I use the Levasole sheep bolus but I read that the product had been discontinued. It used to be really easy to get from farm supply places here in the States.

If you are battling nematodes, then you need flubendazole or fenbendazole as another option if levamisole hydrochloride is difficult to get. Praziquantel will not really kill the nematodes.
