hi all, i just gotten an amoeba off my Arowana. it was attached to the bottom anal fin. toward the tip of the aro. i notices it few days ago and for three days it have grown to the point that i know it's a parasite. so the other days i try to catch the aro and try to operate on the part where the parasite was festing on but i guess the aro was flicking the water so much that the bug like parasite came off. i manage to catch it with my fish net. i then put it into a small bucket with a feeder hoping that it was feed off the feeder but it didn't so would someone tell me what it is. i have taken 3 pics of it..the tank consist of 3 parrot ciclids, 3 motoro rays, an arowana, 3 datnoids, and a Fly River Turtle..
here is the pics.

Amoeba cannot be seen unless you have a microscope. They're single-celled animals. Your pic shows Argulus better known as fish lice. You should have destroyed that parasite. No fish will eat them.

I think I've seen it on some of the goldfishes I had when I was a kid.
You can put some table salt on it and that will kill it very quickly. give it a try.

Yes, as Lupin said. It's fish lice. They're probably from the feeder fish you buy as it's been with me. Find some anti-parasite solution to get rid of them.
