I was giving some live black worms to some of my fish when I noticed a worm that was shaped like a diamond. It had a small head, larger body, and small tail. It was only about 1cm long. Is that a parasite? How commonly are parasites found mixed in with live blackworms?

It can be common depending on the source. I occasionally get leeches in mine from a certain fish store. I just pick them out when changing the water.
