Where Palm Trees Grow
I just bought my Tat last Saturday and he has what looks to be parasites, It does not look like ich because it is larger white lumps more like warts. And they stand off of the fish and there are about 4 of them on one fin and 2 on the body, I've never seen this on any fish before. Are these injuries from fights or shipping? Or is it a parasite?

86 degrees, loads and loads of air/surface agitation and salt. you'll find the correct dosing by doing a search.

Tat's are very delicate and most parasite meds can be an issue. In the UK we don't have it, but I have heard that Jungle Lads may be ok but try the non-medical option first. Oh, and don't use just standard table salt.

10% waterchanges every day and 2lbs of salt per 100 gal. if u dont see improvement in 48 hrs then 4lbs per 100 gal (total)

no meds needed

Can't do WC's currently since I need a new python, But I'm going to buy some salt tomorrow along with some Silversides so I'll see if I can squeeze in a python.

Is their any way you can do wcs?? Your going to need to...

Can you post a picture of the "lumps" - could be a few things from parasite egg cysts to a disease called Lymphocystis or just the onset of Ichthyophthirius heck if it's a one time deal could just be airbubbles - we need a visual or it's all just a guess.
