I have 4 baby paretroplus menarambo 1.5 inches long. I have only had them a little over 2 weeks I am pretty sure they have gill flukes or some other internal parasite. They were spending a lot of time laying on the bottom of the tank gasping for air. But one definitely worse than the other three. I started using prazipro 3 days ago and three of them have made drastic improvements and are swimming much more and eating again. But the one that was the worst still lays on the bottom a lot even though he has made some improvements because he does slowly swim around a little and when he lays on the bottom it is now upright or almost upright when before it was strait sideways. But I still can't get him to eat. He would eat blood worms like crazy before he got sick but I can't get him to eat anything not blood worms, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp or anything. Any ideas I am afraid he won't get better if he doesn't eat.
next question I have heard prazipro only works for three days and then goes dormant basically. Is this true? Do I need to change the water and add another full dose df prazipro? Or what is the procedure from here forward?
