Have you tested your water?
Yes
If I did not test my water...
  1. ...I recognize that I will likely be asked to do a test, and that water tests are critical for solving freshwater health problems.
Do you do water changes?
Yes

My green/turquoise sev has these filamentious things just behind the right gill plate and one just below the left. I'm not seeing anything on the other fish. I do see occasional flashing but I frequently. There has been some chasing of the G/T sev by the H.N. which I'm not sure wasn't courtship related. My initial thought was that this was an aggression injury.
Water tested
Ph ~7.4
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate ~40
Gh 9 drops for color change, 6-11 degrees?
Kh ~5-6 drops for color change, 50-100ppm?

Do a search for anchor worms and see if that is what they look like. Posting a clear pic of the 'things' would also be helpful.

I updated the first post with pics. I type on my computer and use my phone for picture upload.

Hard to make out for obvious anchor worm but I’d try a round of copper. Make sure you check copper levels.

I made up a 3g meth blue bath and dunked the sev twice. First dip was ~20 seconds and second dip was ~10 seconds since the bottle states not to exceed 10 seconds. I had a syphon running water out of the tank for a water change so I rinsed the sev between dips and before putting back in the tank. Finishing up a ~50% water change too.
I am going to order a gallon of Paraguard. Should be able to get it here tomorrow.

I don't want to go the copper route as I have a pothos and Süsswassertang for nitrate removal. If I do have parasites I don't want to transfer them to another tank if I were to move the planter box filter.

Copper shouldn’t effect the plants.

After doing the MB bath the streamers were gone the next day. Since I am teleworking and spending the full day in my fish room I observed the H.N. pursuing the Turquoise sev with the intent to harm. I moved the T. sev into the 55g with the chocolate. I checked on him just now and the places on the gill plates are healing.
