I think my beloved Midas has some sort of parasite!

Seems like he grew these worm like appendages from his face.

The worms do not get the forked tip like the typical anchor worm.
Instead, have a ball like tip and look somewhat antennae-like.
They only seem to grow a few millimeters total length.
All of them have appeared around his mouth/nostril region.
Noticed some appear awhile ago but ended up dissapearing after about 2-3 days.
Thinking it was maybe scar tissue or from banging into things and didnt think much of it.

Well they have come back and seems to be more.
I am guessing offspring of the original parasite that layed eggs?
Came here to see if anyone knew what I am talking about and how to treat them.

His attitude and appetite are the same.
Not lethargic or gasping breaths, and loves eating when I feed him.

Do you have macro images of these parasites?

Do you have macro images of these parasites?
Nope sorry!
But I am working on getting some visible pictures of them.
They seem to stay exposed for a few days before dieing/hiding.
Then reappear about week later making me assume they have different stages in life.

He is in a community tank with three other fish.
Though none of them have shown signs of this "parasite"...

Couldn't achieve getting any clear pictures.
I have decided to illustrate what the "parasite" looks like when exposed for the few days they appear before dieing.
The size is a little exaggerated and are larger in drawing to show you how they look.
In reallity these things are about the length of 2-3mm.
