I'm curious about the differences, or lack thereof, in coloration between these two fish. The first fish was sold as a zonatus (although based on the narrow red band on the tail, perhaps it's sp 'coatzacoalcos'?) whereas the second was sold as hartwegi. I expected the zonatus to show more blue and the hartwegi to show more red by now. Perhaps it's just a size issue - the zonatus is about 4.5" and the hartwegi is about 3.5". I'm asking mainly because my bifas, synspilum, and maculicauda starting showing their colors at smaller sizes.
