Just got these from Jose (cichlasoman), shipped via Dave's Rare Fish
hope to regularly update as they grow
so far, they are growing out in a 55gal (in line with another 300gallons in tanks), with 6 Etroplus canarensis, and a lone small belly crawler pike cichlid
There are 6 andapa, all but the largest hid most of the time until I added the 10 Ptychochromis tarantsy.
They are now as bold, and out in the open as any of the others in the tank.
Little update on the andapa.
I tend to get a bit critical or my photos over time, familiarity with the fish seems to beget clarity, hence the removal from the 1st posts.
Sorry to read in another topic about your alpha male taking out all of its siblings. It's very frustrating when that happens, but I guess it's part of keeping cichlids.
