Paraya live with this fish?

Can he live in with a Florida gar? Tank size is a 180G.

if both fishes are similiar in size then there should'nt be a problem.

if its anything other then a scomb then it will work till they out grow that tank same with the gar it will need a wider tank after a little while

scomb would work and wouldn't out grow tank but may get eaten by the gar if its gets to big

but the gar might outgrow a redtail payara.
armatus might be a bad choice since its so aggressive.

I have 2 Floridas in with my Armatus. Works so-so. Its gonna depend on species. I had bad luck with gar and any payara besides Armatus.... Payara are timid. Gars are the opposite. Tats MIGHT work but only for a little while as the gar will quickly outgrow them.
