I have a pair of Nic's that spawned a few weeks ago. They are the only inhabitants in a 55 gallon tank. The fry are growing nicely and the parents after guarding them at first have let them roam around the tank freely.
What I'm worried about is it looks like the parents are going to spawn again soon and I don't know if they will harm the first set of fry to protect the new fry? Or, will the original group of fry eat the new fry?
Please advise or comment.
