I am thrilled I found a picture of the lone damii male, I think, who lives in my garage- this guy is 12 inches and should have another 6 inches more to go. This fish is highly sought after because of its impressive and unique coloration- it is part of a species complex that has become endangered in its native Madagascar. There is another group of 3 that measure about 5 inches. I will likely combine them next year unless the trio spawns before but I think they are not quite mature yet.
