Paretroplus Maculatus spawn

Finally my Paretroplus maculatus have matured enough to have their first batch of eggs, don,t have any hope for them as they are in a tank with other maddys, but if i can keep my eyes on who the parents are i will put them in their own tank

Managed to get myself some young Paretroplus menarambo as well but too small to join the big boys for a while so they are slumming it with a young EBJD for the moment

Loving the color on your maculatus..........does it only display the coloration during breeding???

Wow, good work to you and the fish! (we all know they do the real work, hahaha) What are the parameters and conditions if it is not much trouble? How old are the fish and how big are they?

I have seen eggs in my macs' tank once (one month ago) and my fish are a little under 3 yrs old (purchased Dec. 2007 at 2"). Just curious to see how our macs stack up against eachother. Thanks and congrats!
