Has anyone ever heard of these?

I've heard of them and seen some pictures, and I know that they are extremely rare. I mean I would not regret it at all if I purchased one on an impulse buy. I dont have any pics with me but from what I've seen, they look like a massively wide Paroon Shark body with a RTC head, which kind of makes the fish look very Asian.

I've kept lots of Pangasius species in the past and now I am keeping 2 RTC. These are two totally different type of fish. Pangasius are usually active swimmers all the time while RTCs are very dormant and docile. Plus from two completely different sides of the world! Tropical zone of course, but still, its one hell of a hybrid!

Wow! I want one!

Had the opportunity to buy the fish in the photo until my husband said no. Being that the thing could get freaking massive, I figured it better be something we agreed upon. Now he regrets it a bit. :( R1_Ridah owned that fish, and said that the fish would swim a lot, but then have to hang on the bottom for a few moments and relax. He also told me that he ate a TON, as one would expect. Wish so much that I had snagged it, but apparently it got sold to someone in Northern California.

Yes I am now hoping that they would appear somewhere in this country. Thee choice of fish here is very limited. Some South American catfish, some african cats and a lot of asian cats. I can buy a perfectly healthy paroon shark fry here for little over a dollar. But now that I know about this cat, it will probably be the holy grail of fish for me.

we meed to mob that guy and let him die LOL see how he likes it just messing
