Paroon sharks...Do their fins grow back?

So I bought a Paroon shark a month or so ago...a solid 12" fish...it got smashed by one of my other fish.

It has healed perfectly..the only thing left is its fins. That long dorsal they have isn't showing any sign of growing back.

Anyone else had this problem?
