hm, i just did a quick look and the texas was said to be cichlasoma, and as for the parrot..well that is somthing that no one really knows the truth of what it is for some reason.
africans are mouth breeders after they lay the eggs and male fertilizes them, the female picks them up and keeps them in her mouth for 3 weeks till their big enought to swim away.
americans lay eggs anywhere and let the fry swim around.....while guarding them
BLood parrots lay eggs and guard babies. So do texas ffs....Africans don't

chances are 1 in 1000000 i have a pair of dwarf parrot cichlids arent they not supposed reproduce will mine have there second brood does anyone know for sure
