Parrot and discus

Has anyone ever heard of a parrot fish and discus hybrid?

I have a blood parrot and a Pigeon Blood discus and they are
always together in a recently dug pit by the blood parrot. The parrot also has an egg coming out from it. They also get defensive at anything hat comes near the pit. Could it be possible that they have laid eggs and fertilized? I cant see since there is gravel.

They may pair up, But no chance of eggs being fertile.
They just arnt related closely enough geneticly to produce viable eggs.
Good job on getting a parrot and discus to live together. Any pics?

should i separate them or sell them together because I was in the process of selling everything in my tank

They won't be fertile but congrats on the cohabitation.
