I have 2 blood parrots in a 60 gallon atm.. i do have some tetras for the moment but they are being moved into another tank very soon.. i just want to know what peoples recommendations are for other tank mates... tank diameters are 41" length, 17" depth and 23" high.. so any ideas would be much appreciated, thanks :)
 
yeah they would, but i was thinking of something not so common as them, plus i have them in a tank already and would rather go for something new :)
 
i would like to try a flowerhorn, but i thought they got really agressive, and should be kept alone.. but another thing is im not sure on their hump, some just dont look right and look oversized

Some have a mild personality and some are just really super aggressive so just check for their personality when you choosing them. Then you might just go for hard kok instead of water kok :D. You should try going for a fader then.
 
Yeah i might think about a flowerhorn, i love the colours they have.. i saw them in a local shop, so i might pop back and have a look at them sometime this weekend.. this might be an idea :) sounds cool to me
 
I have seen some cool pictures of a flowerhorn with multiple parrots kind of schooling together. I have seen them make good mixes. Although it does depend a lot on the flowerhorn. Like Eric was saying, some can have mild personalities.
