My larger Parrot has paired up with either another immature parrot or one of the severums in the tank. When cleaning the tank I noticed two clutches of eggs with both Parrots defending against my advances. The eggs don't look viable as they are mostly white, could you direct me to a source, either previous posts or books that discuss parrot fish breeding in detail... are all PF's sterile or is that an early breeder myth to keep prices inflated?

My BRP's breed every two weeks like clockwork.
HOWEVER, both of my males are sterile.
Supposedly it is about a 98 % sterility rate for males.
The females eggs are viable though if you want to pair her up with something else...

parrots cannot have fertil eggs because they are a hybrid breed. they are a cross between two fish (i forget which ones) as manny people know. the males are infertil so the eggs can and will never hach. ok? i got all that info from my friend. his parrots ended up eating the eggs.

ok this is the story. first my oscar got cloudy eye and my parrot fish got the white fuzzy stuff on its side. i checked the ph and it was off by about 8. i fixed it and my oscar is now fine and so is my parrot. for some reason my parrots upper half turned white! wtf? can any1 help me out here?

parrots can have babies. i have some fry right now from a parrot.
but she is female.
and yeah it's like 97-98% infertile on males.
the sev however i think can fertilize the parrot eggs.
also i've had parrots drop eggs several times, without even a male in the tank. just for the heck of it i guess.

My male BRP bred with my pink convict several times.Unfortunatly only one batch ever hatched.I ended up with nine fry that survived.
