Parrot fish eyes ?

I was Wondering if the eyes on parrot fish mean anything or is it just defect/gene kinda thing
Let me Explain so I have 2 parrot fish one of the two has a interesting looking pupil the other looks Rather Normal
Any input of the crazy pupils some fish get ?

I have seen it on few flowerhorns, as they grew the pupil became normal color.

I see this all the time on parrots. It makes them look sleepy....lol. From what I have observed in parrot tanks containing dozens and hundreds of parrots I would say, on average, about one out of every 15 have these sleepy looking eyes. I too think it looks cool. No idea if it impacts their vision.

One of my three have the 'sleepy eye'. They are all juveniles - will have to see if it changes with age.

One of my jumbo parrots Tango has "sleepy" eyes...they were 'double dot' when he was smaller. They look cool. He sees just as well as my other parrots.
