Parrot fish sex and spawning

I have a parrot fish which input into a tank with 5 rainbow cichlids and 2 plecos a few weeks ago. The hump on his head got a bright red and I think I see a breeding tube. I am not sure if the tube was always there or just appeared. Here is a picture.

Is it a breeding tube? Does the parrot fish want to spawn with a rainbow?

I don't really see a noticable tube in this pic. If it is a little triangular shaped thing that just appeared, It could be a male reaching sexual maturity, or becoming dominant (which involves a hormonal change that increases fertility) in the presence of the dithers.

A female spawning tube will be very noticable, she will get noticably fat, and the tube dropped will be about as big and thick as a pencil eraser.

Thanks I am referring to a little nub on the bottom behind the pelvic fin. Is the red bump also due to hormone changes? You think he will breed with the rainbows cichlid? The rainbows are still young under a year.
