Parrot fish size

i purchased a red parrot and gold severum at about the same time and at the same size in a 55 gal tank...the parrot grew from 1" to about 2" and the severum grew from 1" to about 5"...could the parrot be stunted or is the growth rate just that slow?
i change water frequently and offer a varied diet..otherwise the parrot seems happy

from my experience the parrots dont grow super fast. sounds about normal to me.
