Hey guys just need an advise, I got a 2 parrot fish for 3 weeks now but all they do is hide behind the rock and they only come out if I feed them. But after they get the food they go back hiding behind the rock... Is that normal?

This is totally normal, I have had mine for about 6 months and they still do that. Don't worry. Sorry they don't come out. Hopefully ours will get used to it and come out soon. Just moved mine to a 36 gallon and they love the driftwood. Are you looking forward to them turning red? Mine are and they are very pretty.

Yes they will be absolutely fine, and better I think they will look nice together. Just make sure the jardini is absolutely safe, since I don't have much experience with them. Hope I helped.

Thats true that's why I bought a separating thing so it can be separated for a while so my jardini will grow a little before I can mix them together. Thank you for the advice

As they mature they will be more socialable. I have a several in my 150g and they are about 8" long and a good 2" wide. They are housed with severums, tin foil barbs, clown knife and a pleco
