Parrot Horn "kirrin Parrot"

just had the chance to pick up one of these guys for 30£
i hear they are pretty damn rare, even flowerhorns are pretty uncommon here so parrot horns are almost unheard of.
the LFS said they are really rare and there is 6, is it worth getting one of these guys?

If you like the physical traits in a bp, It all comes down to your opinion at the end. But those hybrid bp turn out unattractive when they get older, other then that it is a good deal, considering where you are from.

well apparently these ones are really good quality imports from singapore. not cheap ones your probably get in america. i love blood parrots but i always end up selling mine and regretting it! this time its for keeps!

overpriced, do not get them just because they are "rare". They were somewhat popular for a short while but the demand has died down and lfs stopped stocking them. Read up on them and then decide if you want them or not.

I have one, not sure of sex. It is about 1 year old and grows slower than a BP but otherwise I thing they are prett much the same. I will try to get pics later, mine was free so I couldnt say about a fair price.

ı want ıt because ı love BPS and ı love FHs and thıs ıs them both together
and at thıs moment ı dont ahve a free 55g for a sıngle FH so the kırrın parrot ıs perfect, ıve already decıded ı want one because ı love them ı am new to FHs and ım wonderıng whats a good way of choosıng good potentıal colour because Kırrıns have the same colourıng as a FH so ı assume ıf ıwant a really nıce one ı should follow the same rules as FHs rıght ?

Update, ı got 2 parrots today! a regular reddısh pınk one and a kırrın parrot.
both are very colourfull and small. the female raınbow cıchlıd hastled them for a lıttle at fırst but they are settlıng ın just fıne wıth the lıghts off. ıl take some pıcs ın a day or 2 when they get used to the tank better =)
