Just got a couple true parrots from rapps along with a dat and and a sp super red sev. all the others have eaten already (bloodworms and flakes) the parrots arent interested , I know its only been 4 hours but should i worry? and what is there favorite diet , awesome fish and im already smitten with them I want them to do well. all help appreciated

What's up Albyoscar? I got my Parrots from Rapps too, about 4 months ago (approx. 1.5"-2") along with some Rokteil severums, a pair of H sp. atabapo and a H. coryphaenoides. They were eating all sorts of pellets and freeze dried foods within a day. Once they get started they are def not shy around feeding time.

Like you said, they have only been in the tank for a few hours. I would give them some time to adjust and get use to everything. Every fish is different and yours might just be one of those annoying shy guys that take a but longer than usual to get use to everything. As long as your waters good and he/she is not stressed everything should work out fine.
Cool I kinda figured that was the deal I just worry to much I guess. Water is perfect .90 gal tank filtered by 2 rena xp3s , also houses 2- 5" clown loaches, 1-12" bkg 1 10" delhezi bichir and 1-5" archer . just me worrying too much.NeptuneNY;4861547; said:What's up Albyoscar?
