Got a 330gallon and wanna try these things and see if they survive my guys.

Currently I have 2 twin t8 bulbs 4' on the tank.
In a month or so I will be converting to spiral bulbs and plan to run possibly 6 bulbs @13watts inside a reflective housing.

Would that light be sufficient weather its floating or planted on the bottom?

Tanks id say 25-27" deep

I use the spiral bulbs but my tank is tiny compared to yours. Its a 30 gallon long (36 inch ) .
I use 2 of the NuVision brand ,BRIGHT white bulbs. HUGE diffeence between bright white and White or Daylight both were so so.

The plants grow to the top of the tank monthly and only started added Excel 2 weeks ago .This pic was after I trimmed it. Its a nice clean white granted in my cell phone pic it looks yellowish type light but its actually very clean light.

In your size tank it seems to weak. The bulbs are super bright but your tank is huge compared to mine .

You might want to consider the higher watt spiral bulbs or more bulbs. For floating plants they would be great .
