Ok, so I have two blood parrots that i bought a little over 2 years ago. They were pretty small, you know pet store size (about an inch or so) they have definatly gotten much bigger, about 4 inches, but they seem to have stopped growing. Are they just "little fish?" Can anyone offer advice or education on their stunted growth?

The parrots i have seen or own get 8"+ pretty fast and fat as hell , maybe they are jellybeans ? a mix of convict and parrot as they stay smaller but look similar .
or it could be tank size , diet or water quality effecting growth
I would guess jellybean , maybe best to post picture as they always help a post

What size tank are they in? When you say 4", are you counting the tail or not? Usually over 2-4 years a blood parrot's body can easily reach the size of one's palm. At 2 years old, I would expect yours to be a bit larger but it all depends on water quality, nutrition, and how much room they are given.
