wat up mfk fam i was at my lfs and they just got a tank full of parrots the question is some are blue has anyone seen a blue parrot before or is this artifitial coloring. i will get some pics soon.

Yes they are artificially colored by either injecting them with dyed or dipping them in acid then in dye. You should purchase these fish, get a normal orange parrot if you want one.

thanks for the info theres another lfs by my with blood parrots that look amazing will get one of those guys hopefully a female for my sb fader fh. i think that combo would look ill

As for the initial question. Yes they are dyed. "jellybeans" probably. Disgusting.
But fortunateley, they are Illegal in oklahoma (wher I liv)
at least thats a start
