There isn’t any set parentage for bps, Midas x synspilum is just the most likely. They do breed parrots to get more parrots, though I believe the males are often injected with hormones to raise fertility.
I didn’t believe mine would be fertile, but the eggs turned brown when they laid. Convict’s been eating all of the eggs, but the eggs show fertility beforehand.
It is one in a million, but it has been recorded. This one is simply one of those.
I'll take your word for it then but you should get him breeding that's very very rare.

I’m starting to doubt how fertile he may be, as they have gone through three clutches without hatching, but I’m hoping. I know various factors affect eggs hatching. I know how rare this could be if he is in fact fertile.
