partial drop eye (DE)?

Is it common for silver Arowana's to develop partial drop eye? My silver aro is aprox 16" and his right eye is normal but his left is dropped. I have read this is common for them to get drop eye but is it common for it to only happen to one eye? will it eventually happen to the other eye?

maybe, or maybe not. no one knows why it happens. I have seen both eyes with DE and seen some with only one DE.

as long as I know, yes, silver arowana has a greater probability to get DE...sorry for my bad english.
