Pasionis in Peril

WELL, I'm officially retarded you guys. I tried putting in my pasionis with my midas thinking I would have a Central American tank (I made lots of hiding spots and kept a close eye). As you can probably deduce, my pasionis got beat up a bit and his dorsal fin is messed up....

I've already put him in a hospital tank and he's had three days of Melafix/Pimafix with no improvemnent....and I just did a 30% wc. I'm running carbon right now in hopes of running tetracycline or perhaps Fungus Guard. I'm really confused as what to do...please someone chime in with some advice. It would be greatly appreciated.

Forget the Melafix/Pimafix. I'd do daily water change by 20-30% water volume. The more water changes, the better until the fins recover completely. Melafix can help but only to an extent and clean water quality should be your priority, not the addition of chemicals in the tank. Do not treat your fish with antibiotics. It does not need the antibiotics.
