I have up for sale a 2012 Pastel Common Snapping Turtle. As you can see in the pics, he has lots of beautiful caramel colored blushing on his shell and a nice ivory colored body and belly. It is believed that the pastel trait is co-dominant, so it is very possible that the genes can be passed on to his offspring. I am not 100% sure of sex, but I am assuming it is a male because he was incubated at a temperature that produces mostly male offspring. They are much easier to sex when they get a little bigger. He hatched in August 2012 and he is already up to a 3"-3.5" shell. He is far from a hatchling and is well established. He eats everything under the sun but his favorites are bloodworms, mysis shrimp, pellets, and romaine lettuce. I have also given him raw venison on several occasions, which he LOVES. The last pic is him next to an iPhone 4 for size reference. I am asking for $500 plus shipping or best REASONABLE offer. See my website for terms of sale and more info: www.ExoticEctotherms.com Thanks for looking!!!!
