Patience for a Picture?

I know all of you have done it, and might even be doing it right now... waiting by your tank, camera in hand, wanting to get that "just right" picture of that certain fish. I know I have, and it seems to take even longer with a lower end camera if the fish just wont sit still!

So what's the longest you've waited to get that picture?

30 mins most likely, have to be ready when that shot comes around though, constant camera in hand, turned on, focusing on different fish all through it. waiting for something different.

im experimenting at the moment with unlimited burst mode and the manual focus with my current camera. out of 500+ pics yesterday i managed about 20 keepers. but with the burst setting the time should change.
