Hello! My wife has been taking care of Patriot crabs for about half a year now, she has 2 of them. We've seen the male molt twice now and it happens over night while we are sleeping. Yesterday i got up and saw the female sitting in the sand with her claw in the sand, figured ok she's just chillin. Get home from work, in the exact same spot... same position as the morning. Today she hasn't moved still. We don't wanna touch it until we know for sure if its dead or not. Its been fine and digging and going in the water and everything just normal. Then all of a sudden it doesn't move for 2 days. Is it in the molting process? or is it dead?? Thanks.
