Setting up a bigger tank for my ray now that I'm sure she's healthy. I've had her for a few weeks and she's eating frozen krill. She prolly has about a 5 inch disc or so. Anyway I'm moving her to a longer but shorter tank. Before I move her I'd like to put some pool filter sand in the bottom and add some live plants yes I know they have a big potential of being uprooted. In order to combat this I was wondering if I could set some smooth round pavers up a few inches from the back of the tank to plant some stuff in without it getting uprooted.
Has anyone ever tried this? Has anyone found that rays will dig into small spaces if they have large open spaces to hide themselves in?
