i have a 13" armatus which just starts chasing/charging at my 13" gatf. I read somewhere that once armatus reaches a certain size they just start being aggressive. Is there a way for me to lessen the aggression of the fish? Like putting some silver dollars in the tank to distribute the agression? I really need your help cause i dont want to sell my armatus if this doesnt work out

Can try large barbs. Like tin foils, bala Sharks or cigar barbs. Consider some smaller freshwater tarpon as their constant swimming may help.
Thanks! Now i just need to look for silver dollars that are already pretty decent sized so the payara won't try to eat them. How many do you think is the appropriate number of silver dollars that i should get?
Also, i have a 11" golden dorado with the gatf and the armatus. Do you think the silver dollars would also help in lessening the fights between the armatus and the dorado?
I have 11 right now in my set up I also have a atf/armatus combo seems to be fine sometimes the SD actually chases them around. They are both around 11-12” I’ve never kept dorados but I’m sure they’ll be fine
get silver dollars they said ... lol .. when the army gets big he is a beast . in the long run it won't work
