Payara at fish store

So theres a 5" Payara what I believe to be armatus at a fish store in a different town. Thing is it has a bad case of ich.

I just started a heat treatment in a quarantine tank with a few clown loaches yesterday. But this payara has it worse.

My question is if I purchase this payara can I add him to the quarantined ich tank that I started yesterday? Or does the treatment need to start in a fresh tank.

I would keep the payra separate till it's healed and has some time in qt.

It's not the ick that needs to worry about its passing some other bug to ur other fish with Ich already.
