Payara ID?

Can anyone verify the species on these guys. The store they are at has a couple of larger armatus and scombs in a display, however most of the employees think they are all the same species in that tank so I'm not sure I trust their id on these ones. Got told "they're the little ones that like eating feeders" by the one employee who at least knew the ones in the display were different species but couldn't name any of the species so that wasn't super helpful.

Agreed,scomb and it looks to be about six ot eight inches in length......and,LOL at "the little one that like eating at feeders".

Must admit...eating up the feeders put a smile on my face aswel. These fish are just bad ass. Love them all.

I laughed at that as ot sounded like they were suggesting that the bigger payara do not like to eat feeders.

These guys are so darn cute. I love the oddball predatory fish. Wish my LFS would get some of these. I will eventually find one, I am sure.

I will, I'm waiting for Jeff Rapps or a vendor to get some in. Aquascape has Armatus right now just can't decide which one I want.
