Payara Info

So Im just looking for basic Payara care, Ive heard that they are fragile. Is this true? Can they go with Pbass, Arowanas and Cks? Ive also heard that they die unexpectidly at 12in.

does anyone know why they die unexpectidly around a foot long?
i saw a pic of one that was well over a foot long in a tank befor but only once

Its not entirely tru, see there are a few species of payara and they all look allike! The ones everybody always sells are the regular Payara and even though they are reported to get huge they actually grow slow and only get to max of 12 inches maybe a little bigger. Theres 2 species that get big but are rare and hard to find.
