You never truly understand a fish until you have one in your tank. Websites and other online pages are ok but if you really want info, talk to someone that kept them.

Decent IDing. Other than that, it's very vague. The site is honestly a guide to ID payara species, not to care for them.

Keep them myself dont need to ask for info thought it would be cool with what seems like a hundred id my payara threads on this board. Only info i use is my personal experience. Have owned arms, tats, scombs and rhaps so im cool. Own armatus and scombs now. I like fish and all info is good to me i take what i need from it and leave the rest. And i always like looking at new photos and info. Only look at any websites including this for the photos mainly never really get any good info.

Im just wondering if its how to move to keep more then one armatas in tank together?

:lol2:

To answer what I think you're asking, you need to have a very, very large tank with either 1 armatus or a trio of them. Dither fish help, too. You're going to need world class filtration, too. These guys need flawless water.
