Hey everyone I'm posting this thread about red tail payara and their average size in aquariums. I once grew a scomb 10+inches before it died also a tat that was almost 11 inches. After they died I gave up on fish keeping for a year now I'm back with a mission after long research and reading threads on scombs and tats max size in captive aquariums I realized if I'm going to have shot at growing a tat past that rare 12" marker. So what I've done to prepare for this mission " I know I'm calling a mission because it sounds better then goal" is add more current in my 160g and more filtration and a healthy diet. Here's what I got going I am currently 8x over filtrated with a max output of 3000 gph on the 160g and as for a diet I am breeding flattys and daffodil cichlids as food any advice is welcome. Thanks
