Payara not eating well.

Hi guys, I'm new to monster fish keepers. (first post).
My Payara has stopped eating. I've had him for about 7 months now and he was eating just fine, attacking feeders as soon as I put them in, but now I haven't seen him eat in the past few weeks. I'm sure he's still eating he's just not as aggressive a he was. Any ideas?

They will go through fasts every once in a while then randomly start eating again. When they start looking extremely skinny is when you should start worrying.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye on him, he looks fine still. Today he was starting to show interest in the feeders.

As long as the water is clean he should be fine. I've had some that went over 3 weeks without eating.

Yep,my armatus goes on fasts a few times throughout the year.Which payara do you have,exactly?
