Payara not eating

Hi All

i have had my payara armatus for about 3 weeks and there not eating they go over and kinda sniff then they just swim away.

i know my silver arowana isnt helping as it keeps swiming low and spooking them every time but when they get a chance to eat they wont.

and tip or hint would be very helpful

size & what type of food, how often are the feedings.
Mine is getting to be a picky eater as it gets larger. I throw in sardines,yellow croaker and other types of frozen fish from Asian stores. Does the same thing and sometimes even grabs it in it's mouth, tastes it and then releases it. Only when it's so hungry that its grabs and swallows it. So maybe you can save some $ by cutting back on feedings?

There about 7-8 inch and theyve not ate anything yet they eat pellets on the first day but ever since theyve not eaten
ive tried pellet and prawns and lance fish, live river shrimp
just worried tbh
