Payara tooth shed

.....thats a good question....
Any know how often payara shed their canines or how long it takes for the next one to pop up? Just curious cause mines just lost a tooth.
 
Usually they have a replacement within 24 hours. Mine seems to shed his teeth every couple months, I think. Haven't really kept track, but don't worry about it. He probably already has a new tooth as I'm replying now.

my armatus sheds alot, its very normal and the new ones look sweeter and sweeter every time.
 
Yeah confirmed at the most 24hrs. Lost it last night at 11pm and at 9pm today when i got home, there was a new one! Freakin cool! Just pops right up!
 
just wait til they get relly big and we have huge teeth layin on the bottom of our tanks. then we can show people theyre teeth and watch theyre jaws drop. can i get a he** yeah?!?!
