hey guys, wana add a saber tooth with my Gaft and Vaft wen it arrives, will it work? if so which do i go for? tank mates being silver i figure it ruls out the mighty armatus? but how about a scomb, how difficult are they? and same for tats... and how is the aggression with each? i'd love to do tats and have a consistent red tail and teeth tank, maybe some red tail cudas too?
any help appreciated!
 
red tails are ur best bet. scombs arent very hardy and are known to mysteriously die b4 they hit 12 inches. also depending how big ur tank is u could get a rhaph. ur atf's might push him around though.
 
ok, i know somewhere that is about to import some 10" scombs from peru, are they any more stable at that size? just that they are peanuts prices and i'm thinking get a tat when i can too? will it work? is the big scomb worth the risk? scombs are around half price of tats here it seems...
 
tanks wise, its a odd1, 84"x30"x30" just placed the order, to be completed in a month! Gaft is 8" and in a 60"x20"x15" for now with my 9" silver aro and 10" SAL, small scarlet, scribble and rusty plecs...
 
wow thats a big scomb... if the price is good give it a shot. ive always loved how they look
 
its about $60 aka £30 that seems normal price for small scombs here... so for a big one, very good.... tats go for bout £80ish aka $160ish.... and have not seen any armatus for sale in the uk.... if i get a scomb with a view to get a couple of tats wen i can, would the three be ok together? thanks trev!

they will prob be ok. sometimes they will pick on the weakest link when kept in a school.
