i noticed today my largest tat has a white snout is this some sort of injury and if so how do i treat it i already put a tiny amount of aquarium salt to help prevent stress and ich but wat should i do to cure this if it is bad?

Make sure that it is not being chased or spooked as it sounds as if it might have bumped into the invisible wall after a quick dash.
Your tat may rub its nose to the bottom of the tank, which is normally do by those skittish characin. Some salt and clean water will heal it. A thin layer of gravel to cover the bare bottom will help to prevent it to happen again.
