lol the sabre teeth are misleading... lol

I have hydrolycus scomberoids they can be housed in a 55 for a long time they reach only 12 inches max. The Armatus and tatuaia are the big ones that need huge tanks! Yes the teeth are huge and amazing but are only used for holding onto small fish!

Heading down to pet kingdom this sunday with 6 hydrolycus scomberoids all stocky and healthy! Huge Teeth extremely aggressive eaters, only feed auratus, danios, guppys and small convicts!

i thought they get to 30+ inches no? if you are talking about stunt the growth of the fish by keeping it in a smaller tank then that's a different story.

No ofcourse not the information on payara is very misleading, the scomberoids stay small the armatus gets big. they look very similiar so its easy to confuse the 2. Armatus grow extremely fast and get huge but are very rare and extremely expensive, the scomberoids look cool but max out at 12 inches making them great fish for not huge tanks.
red tails however get 2 feet and are aggressive payaras.
